Follow the flowers

Most people know instinctively their own colors. The challenge, however, is that they don´t know all of them. Often they also use colors that are not in their palette because they are not aware of the fact that there actually is a palette that works for them best. This palette consists of all the colors of the rainbow and much more. Years ago I started to notice that people were buying flowers in their own color without knowing it. They would pick out flowers that would look nice with their own coloring, even though they were buying them for someone else. To me, this behavior tells me that it really is true that your own colors look best in your own eyes. The problem is, that using very strong colors is popular today, and this has blinded us. To learn more about how colors work, it is a good idea to turn to the nature and start looking at it with “a new set of eyes”.  In cities we tend to dress in grays, whites and blacks mostly to match the city roads and buildings. It doesn´t have to be so. There are always colors to choose from. We just need to learn to use colors that are best for our own coloring.

Roses come in so many colors that everyone can find a rose to enhance their own coloring!
