Everything is connected. There is nothing new in the
world. What is new, is the way we combine things that have never been combined
before. This way we can reach new
solutions.
When I first studied the world of colors, I noticed
that the system developed according to the same structure as astrology. To
understand colors and how they work has a lot to do with the way astrology
works. This became very clear to me a
long time ago when I had the opportunity to find out about astrology at the
same time as when I was learning about colors.
The color wheel looked very much like the astrological
chart with the 12 houses. At that time my focus was more on color because I was
learning a new profession and starting a brand new business. As time has passed,
colors are an extension of my life on many levels. I have now had time to put
my attention more on astrology in the past years. It is a never ending road and
very interesting, especially now, that I have been combining the two. In
astrology, there is so much to learn, just like with colors.
I´m thinking that people, who are interested in astrology,
could also find it easier to get the most out of the color system and use it
successfully to their benefit. Just like astrology, colors can do so much, if
given the opportunity to do so.
To give you a little idea of what I am talking about,
here below are some similarities:
There are 12 different color types in the color system
/ In astrology: 12 signs/Houses
These systems are divided into 4 groups/seasons /In
astrology: Fire, Earth, Air, Water
There are 3 kinds of characteristics per group / In
astrology: Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable
Just like the astrological chart with the 12 houses, we
can group colors into a color wheel with the four seasons that can be chopped
into 12 different types of coloring. Those 12 types can further be categorized
into six different groups according to their dominant color characteristics. In
astrology we have six planets above the Ascendant/Descendant line and six
below.
Colors and astrology make sense in a similar manner.
The more detail you look at, the more you will be able to understand what the
system is all about and what it can help you with. Once you learn, you will
want to learn more. That´s how interesting both are. There are many avenues to
look into and you can apply your knowledge any way you like.
With astrology, you can always reflect on at how
things played out previously during times of similar aspects, although all the
planets have a mind of their own depending on which House and degree they are
at in your personal birth chart.
With colors, the basics stay the same but when we get
older, our colors often fade. Every person´s colors do not change completely
but for others, there is some softening and cooling on the inside and outside.
That seems to be the way of the world.
In astrology, your birth chart is what it is. The same
goes with the colors, you were given at birth. They go hand in hand. We need to
be humble and patient if we want to learn more about the “secret language” they
are talking. They are both so complex that it takes years to get the fine
tuning into place in your own life. Sometimes it will open up with trial and
error and sometimes as a flash of realization.
They are both a mystery. Just like music. They are all
similar because colors are wave lengths and music can also be seen, just like
colors can be heard when you get deep into these things. It is so very
interesting to notice how everything overlaps each other.
For many years now, I have had the chance to live
close to the nature, walk in the forest, watch birds migrate, enjoy the sea
with its many faces, and I can only be grateful for what it has done for me. My
senses have been opened up much more to understanding the way of the world
around us. We all need the nature. The nature does not need us. It is becoming
clear to many of us that if we don´t start takings seriously the well being of
the nature all around us, it will not be able to cater to all our needs in the
very near future.
Astrologically, we are living at a very exciting time
at the moment. On January 12th 2020 there will be a huge gathering
of planets in one House that marks the beginning of a new time. Such a
gathering was last seen hundreds of years ago and that was a time when there
was a big awakening. I´m hoping this will be the time that the world will wake
up to taking care of the planet with all its creatures instead of destroying
everything, like we have seen in the past.
I feel that it is important for people to wake up to
all the beauty around us. It seems that there is a system for us to follow and
something in colors and astrology is very much involved in the well being of us
all. Many other things work according to these laws. Take a minute to think
about what else works in the same way. I
don´t have all the answers. Not even close. Maye you can continue and build on
the information I am talking about here. There must be many other things to combine
and find out more and more in many ways.
